WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY PACKAGE?
All packages will be shipped via UPS Ground Service or USPS Priority Mail, depending on the weight of the package. We ship Monday through Friday, so all order placed between Friday afternoon and Sunday night will be shipped on Monday or Tuesday. During the week, orders are usually shipped within 24 hours. If your order is shipped via UPS and you have provided us with a correct email address, you will receive a tracking number from UPS the day your order is shipped. If your package was shipped via USPS, you will receive a delivery confirmation number, stating when your order was shipped and delivered. You should expect your package anywhere from 3 - 10 business days after placing your order. REMEMBER: the further away you live from Pennsylvania, the longer your package will take to arrive!!

We are happy to ship your order via UPS Rush Delivery Services. You can choose from Overnight, 2-Day and 3-Day guaranteed UPS services for an added charge which is based on the size and weight of your order. To request a quote, please call us at 1-800-450-2920. If you place the online, please IMMEDIATELY afterwards. Our shipping department is open Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm EST. Here at the Station, we pride ourselves on shipping your order very quickly, so please do not wait to call if you need your package expedited. We cannot be held responsible for shipping a package "too quickly"!!
FLAT RATE SHIPPING
Some of the larger sets, tables, playboards, etc are exempt from our shipping policy, due to their size. For these items, the cost of the extra shipping stated in the description of the item and the extra charge is added to your cart at checkout. These items are separate from our standard shipping policy. The value of the rest of your cart is calculated separately and subject to the standard shipping policy, as they are shipped in a separate box.
Some of our larger require an additional shipping fee. For these items, the cost of the extra shipping stated in the description of the item and the extra charge is added to your cart at checkout. These items are counted towards your cart total and the additional shipping is added. For example, if you qualify for “free shipping”, the handling charge is still added.
Thomas’ Trackside Station has always been “green”! We do not buy boxes or packing material – everything is recycled from our receiving department or materials that we collect from other local businesses. This helps us to save the environment and cut costs at the same time.
HAWAII, ALASKA, U.S. TERRITORIES, APO AND FPO
If you place an order to be delivered to Hawaii, Alaska, an APO or FPO address, or US Territory, you will be required to pay exact shipping costs for all orders, regardless of the total cost of the order (our standard shipping costs are the minimum costs that you will pay for an order). These additional shipping amounts will not be reflected in your confirmation email. These orders will be shipped via US Priority Mail or Express Mail, with the option to insure the package...the cost is based on size and weight of the package. Actual postage costs on these orders will be calculated, and we will email you the cost for your approval. No shipments to these addresses will be made without your approval, unless the Priority mail charge is covered by our standard shipping cost. Therefore, it is very important that you include your email address and your phone number so that we can contact you with shipping costs. Please continue to check your email if you place this type of order.
If you place an order to be delivered to Canada, you will be required to pay exact shipping costs for all orders, regardless of the total cost of the order (our standard shipping costs are the minimum costs that you will pay for an order). These additional shipping amounts will not be reflected in your confirmation email. These orders will be shipped through the US Postal Service via First Class mail, Airmail or Express mail, with the option to insure the package...the cost will be based on size and weight of the package. Actual postage costs on these orders is calculated, and we will email you the cost for your approval. No shipments to these addresses will be made without your approval. Therefore, it is very important that you include your email address and your phone number so that we can contact you with shipping costs. Please continue to check your email if you place this type of order. Please note: Upon receipt of your package, you may be required to pay additional customs fees. This is something which we have no control over, nor do we know what these fees may cost.
Due to licensing agreements, Thomas' Trackside Station cannot ship internationally.
REFUSED SHIPMENT/UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGE
If you refuse a package upon arrival or your package is undeliverable due to customer error, we will credit your card less the actual shipping costs (what it cost us to ship the package) or the shipping cost stated on your order, whichever is higher.
If you receive an order that is wrong or incomplete, you must call us immediately at (800) 450-2920. Do not assume that the rest of the order is "on the way”!
PACKAGE DAMAGED UPON RECEIPT
If your order was delivered by UPS and was physically damaged upon receipt, you must notify both our shipping department and UPS immediately. Save all packaging as UPS will need to inspect it as part of the claim. UPS claims must be started by the customer, not the shipper! If your order was delivered by the Postal Service and was physically damaged upon receipt, please contact our shipping department immediately.
Do not return any defective merchandise without return authorization. Some manufacturers deal directly with the customer concerning warranties - we can direct you accordingly. We do not issue credit for defective merchandise that is returned without prior authorization.
When entering your shipping and contact information and your credit card info, please be very careful, and check your information before hitting the "submit" button. We are not responsible for delays due to incomplete or incorrect information. Address corrections that result in an additional charge to Thomas' Trackside Station will be passed along to the customer. The minimum charge for an address correction is $5.00, so please be sure that you provice correct information!
If you have a question about an order, you must CALL us at 800-450-2920 between 9 am and 4 pm (EST), Mon - Fri. Please do not email with corrections or questions concerning your order, as your order may be processed and shipped before we receive the email.
If you do not wish to place an order online, you may call us at (800) 450-2920 Mon - Fri from 9 am to 4 pm EST to place your order over the phone. We DO NOT accept out-of-state checks. We only accept Pennsylvania checks. If you do not want to use a credit card you may send a money order.
